At Plumb BMC, we focus on what we do best: blocked drains, underground drainage, stormwater solutions, hot water systems, gas fitting, burst pipes, CCTV inspections, jetter services, renovations, and fixture or appliance installations. These are the jobs we’re trained for, fully equipped to handle, and experienced in delivering properly.
We only take on work we specialise in, because you don’t want someone who’s just going to have a go. You want it done right. And if it’s not a job we’re 100% confident in, we’ll point you to someone who can do it properly.
Owner Ben Macpherson-Cramp started in the plumbing industry in 2014, and officially opened Plumb BMC in 2022. Since then, the business has built a solid local reputation for showing up on time, solving problems properly, and being upfront with customers every step of the way.
We’ve got the right tools, the experience, and a straight-up approach to every job. Based in Belmont, we work across Geelong and surrounding suburbs, with a focus on long-term solutions—not quick fixes.

Meet the team
About Ben
Hi, I’m Ben—founder of Plumb BMC and a licensed plumber with over a decade of industry experience. I started my plumbing journey back in 2014, kicking things off with a hands-on apprenticeship that sparked a real passion for the trade. Since then, I’ve worked across nearly every corner of plumbing: underground drainage, stormwater systems, maintenance plumbing, gas fitting, and fixture installations for both new homes and renovations.
In 2022, I started Plumb BMC with one goal, to do things properly. That means showing up when I say I will, being honest about what can and can’t be done, and focusing only on the areas I know inside out. I'm not here to “have a go” at everything—I’m here to get the right jobs done, the right way, for the right people.
I take pride in running a business that’s reliable, local, and straightforward. You’ll usually deal with me directly, and I’ll always be upfront about pricing, timelines, and whether I’m the right person for the job. If I’m not, I’ll happily recommend someone who is.
When I’m not out on-site solving plumbing problems around Geelong and the Surf Coast, you’ll usually find me being bossed around by my 2-year-old daughter, sneaking in a round of golf, or doing odd jobs around my house.
